GOD'S AMAZING GRACE

At times I get so tired and weary
And it is so hard to remain cheery
But God knows just when to send
The right person to be a friend.

I am human and I stray from His fold
But He won't leave me out in the cold.
He loves me inspite of my sin
and He does not care where I've been.

When I repent, He is there for me
Even though I do not expect Him to be
I feel so undeserving, that's for sure
But He doesn't give up on making me pure!

Thank you, Heavenly Father, for loving me so
Considering me your child still instead of foe.
Thank you for your peace in my soul
For your forgiveness and love, and making me whole!

It is not an easy task I surely know
It is hard for me to forgive me when I sink so low
But you forgive when I ask right there and then
No matter what I have done or where I have been!

Thank you for your Son who hung from the tree
So that I might be saved and live eternally!
Thank you for my salvation and saving me a place
So that I can live forever in your amazing grace!
